The Endbringer Mk II combat android was first deployed in Verdun, France, behind enemy lines in the snow covered forests close to a heavily fortified enemy HQ. The Endbringer’s mission was to draw attention away from the main defense force of the enemy’s HQ as friendly assault units were air dropped in the front lines to engage the distracted enemy’s forces and ultimately capture the enemy HQ.
Because the Endbringer was not part of the country’s military, but rather a separate faction which aids the military in special operations, knowledge of its existence was heavily classified. Military generals were very doubtful of a machine with a sentient intelligence would be able to accomplish such a feat, as previous attempts have failed miserably.
However, the government, desperate for anything that could turn the tide of war, was eager to give the Endbringer a shot. What started out as a small company making special nano-prosthetic limbs to keep people alive eventually became a corporation dedicated to making the next generation of intelligent war machines.
The Endbringer in its first live combat mission, astounded friendly forces by being able to distract the enemy’s defense force and also destroying them single handedly without any form of air or artillery support.
Friendly forces who finally reached the enemy’s HQ saw the Endbringer wiping out what was left of a main defense force. 3rd Sergeant Thomas Hawke from the 23th powered armor brigade said it was a “symphony of destruction”. Enemy power armor units were tossed around like toys and tanks were literally torn apart.
1st Sergeant Miller, a sniper from the 5th infantry brigade saw the carnage from the vantage point 3 clicks away. “Its both unsettling and incredible that such a powerful thing exists. Hopefully it would end all wars rather than making them.” he said .
This was another late night doodle, featuring one of my characters, the Endbringer. I wanted to keep the whole image somewhat vague as I want to explore color slowly. I might come back and do another version of this, but for now this will do. Sorry for the big size, but I like to work big Anyways feel free to comment!
When you put your heart into your works, they turn out great! But the fingers confused me. It's either two left hands... or two right hands, I'm not sure.
